are organizing a haggis hunt to begin on October 25, and to end November 8, 2008.

the Haggis hunt is based on a Scottish tradition of fun and frivolity attributable

to the mostly mythical haggis creature of the bog.

all those whose desire it is to actively participate in the haggis hunt must apply for a

licensees will be issued a number and a permit pin along with the official rules of the hunt

the PIN, WHICH MUST BE VISIBLE AT ALL TIMES DURING THE HAGGIS HUNT, is shown to the partner business to obtain the clue to the next location. savvy hunters will search

there are a total of five haggii hiding in five locations. points are credited to the hunters account based on the location of the haggis.

on Saturday, November 8, 2008 all of the haggis hunters and others will conclude the festival with the top prizes awarded to hunters collecting all of the clues and points.

PARTICIPATE IN THE HAGGIS HURL, PIN THE HAT ON THE HAGGIS, ENJOY THE HIGHLAND DANCE PERFORMANCE, delight in the SCOTTISH COUNTRY Dancing, attend the HEAVY ATHLETIC DEMO, discover special treasures and treats at the CRAFT MARKET, TEST YOUR GAELIC LANGUAGE SKILLS and join in the fabulous feast featuring the haggis.

the special recitation of Burns' "To A Haggis" will be piped in by George Balderose prior to the SAMPLINGS OF AUTHENTIC HAGGIS FARE to include Bridies, tatties, Neeps and mushy peas available at a nominal cost.

The evening concert scheduled from 7pm-9pm features the Celtic musicians, Callán, featuring the performances of this powerhouse quartet with over fifty years of combined musical experience, they raise a ruckus with pipes, guitar, percussion, vocals, fiddle, whistle, accordion, mandolin, and banjo
