with PEOPLE Searching FOR HIM at participating merchants during the north suburban chamber of commerce sidewalk sales event July 17 – 18 – 19 AND YET NO ONE FOUND HIM IN ALL SIX LOCATIONS! sergeant Matthew sentner was appointed as the chief of police of the borough of bellevue on may 6, 2008. during the first summer solstice spectacular event, chief sentner was seen at various times and at different venues meeting and greeting Bellevue residents and visitors alike. But wait! Is it the real chief or is it the flat matt? There is a difference between the two. look closely (but don’t stare) and see if you can spot the very significant characteristic that distinguishes one from the other. no, it is not the fact that one is alive and well, walking and talking and the other stands silent and still. that is too obvious! the event dubbed “meet the new police chief” WAS a four-DAY search within ‘the Lincoln avenue business district’ to locate the one who stands silent and still. THROUGHOUT THE FOUR DAYS THE NEW POLICE CHIEF WAS TO BE FOUND IN TWO DIFFERENT LOCATIONS EACH DAY. THOSE WHO FOUND THE CHIEF AT EACH OF THE LOCATIONS DEPOSITED AN ENTRY AT ALL LOCATIONS TO BE ELIGIBLE TO WIN A PRIZE. Included on THE entry, THE guess as to the very significant characteristic that distinguishes one CHIEF from the other.
