August 31, 2008 Patrons sign-up online for the opportunity to visit six restaurants and enjoy a sampling of the specialty food accompanied by an appropriate wine. The Pairings are attributable to Palate Partners/Dreadnought Wines in the strip district. The hours for this spectacular event on Thursday October 2, 2008 are from 4:30pm to 7:00pm. Staggered start times afford all participants a pleasurable experience. a portion of the monies collected will be donated to Northeastern Boxer rescue a non-profit, charitable 501(c)(3) organization which is an all-volunteer effort to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home unwanted and abandoned boxer dogs within the Northeastern United States. the donation will be earmarked to specifically help dogs rescued in Pennsylvania. www.BoxerRescue.com The cost is $20 for everyone who registers on or before September 30, 2008, and $25 for anyone who decides after the designated date to join in this fabulous feast. (pre-payment is encouraged and will guarantee your Reservation; a maximum of 150 reservations will be accepted); please make checks payable to Enjoy Bellevue and deliver to 18 Hawley avenue,
Bellevue, PA 15202; patrons who have not pre-paid may provide for cash payment upon boarding the trolley (more about the trolley later). The patron is given a ticket identifying all of the participating restaurants and the recommended order to visit each; The restaurants and their specialty together with the specially selected wine are identified on the card. Patrons under the age of 21 will be served an alternate beverage. Now – the trolley! There will be a trolley departing from N Sprague Avenue along side the Hawley Avenue municipal parking Lot, to take the patrons to the first stop on the restaurant pairings tour. The last scheduled start time is 6:00 PM. Trips continue based on
patrons’ arrival time and the number of guests participating. As the tasting tour proceeds, patrons will be given the opportunity to stroll or roll to each of the stops. Uncle Chen, (near the intersection of North Balph and Lincoln Avenues), is the location for patrons to board the trolley to travel to MoJo Bistro, for the sumptuous sampling before dessert. The patrons board the trolley for the return trip to ‘town central’ to enjoy the dessert specialty of choice. Again the trolley makes the rounds until all are returned to the center of town.
