This
is the last work day of 2012. Just a couple of hours extending the
work in October.
PTAG
will provide tools. If volunteers wish, they may bring a small saw, rake,
shovel, or any digging tools. Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes, gloves,
and clothing. Eye protection is a good idea too. The trail building work
is physically demanding, requiring digging, raking, and moving heavy
amounts of forest material (dead trees, dirt, rocks). People
who have experience gardening will be fine.
Dress
in layers and don't forget work gloves. We will work in snow,
but will cancel if it is raining
Volunteers:
Please respond
via email. So we can bring the proper amount of tools.

Memorial Day 2011 is a United States federal holiday observed on the last Monday of May. Formerly known as Decoration Day, it commemorates U.S. soldiers who died while in the military service. First enacted to honor Union soldiers of the American Civil War, it was extended after World War I to honor Americans who have died in all wars.
Join us as we pay tribute to our fallen heroes and give thanks to all members of the armed forces who have served our country to ensure our freedoms.
Plan to attend the Memorial Day Tribute beginning at 11 am on Monday, in Bayne Park. Reverend Ed Rodgers - Faith Community Church will give the invocation and veteran Marine Paul Cusick is the keynote speaker. The trumpeter is Gillian Withey. Boy scout Troop #226 will be participating. Refreshments with be served immediately following the ceremony.
Women are able to donate food in lieu of paying a service fee to join Curves of Bellevue. It is a savings of $99. Donations are accepted from anyone at 176 Lincoln Avenue throughout April. Open to all in the community.
Help us beat our in house record from last year -- 800 pounds of food!
The bulk of the food will be donated to the food bank at
