Summer Solstice Spectacular 2008

summer solstice spectacular 2008

meet the new police chief

sergeant Matthew sentner was appointed as the chief of police of the borough of bellevue on may 6, 2008.

during this first summer solstice spectacular event, chief sentner will be seen at various times and at different venues meeting and greeting Bellevue residents and visitors alike.

But wait!  Is it the real chief or is it the flat matt? There is a difference between the two.  look closely (but don’t stare) and see if you can spot the very significant characteristic that distinguishes one from the other.

no, it is not the fact that one is alive and well, walking and talking and the other stands silent and still.  that is too obvious!

the event dubbed “meet the new police chief” is a four-DAY search within ‘the Lincoln avenue business district’ to locate the one who stands silent and still.

throughout the four days the new police chief can be found in two different locations each day.  THOSE WHO find the chief at each of the locations will deposit AN entry at all locations to be eligible to win a prize.

Include on your entry, your guess as to the very significant characteristic that distinguishes one from the other.  The answer to that riveting question will be revealed once someone has answered the question correctly.

in the meantime, the one who stands silent and still was seen in many local establishments including Joe's rusty nail, the shepherd’s door, mane attractions, barkus bakery, luigi’s pizzeria & ristorante, affogato, bellevue do it best hardware, on the patio in front of the bellevue central united Methodist church, north boroughs ymca, west view savings, classic Chevrolet, uncle chen Chinese restaurant, rite aid, northwest savings bank, frankfurter’s hot dog and sandwich shoppe, citizens bank, Lincoln barber, real deal sports cards & collectibles, james v Jordan, esquire, PJ's smoke shop,  a cut above the rest, Matthews arts, Lincoln bakery, Fred Dietz floral, nibbles and licks and Dari-villa.
